This is to advise you that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has reviewed and does not object to the Department of Energy entering into a subsequent arrangement involving the sale of 22.351 kilograms of uranium, enriched to 45 percent'in the isotope urenium-235, for use by the Japanese Atomic Research Institute as fuel for the JRR-2 research reactor.

. It is understood, of-course, that the actual export will be subject to the E,

issuance of pending NRC export license XSNH2468 which covers the material-f involved in the sale.
