ROUTINE ~ RADIATION PROTECTION INSPECTION AT THE CALLAWAY NUCLEAR
POWER STATION
This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. D. W. Nelson of
this office on September 20-24, 1993. This inspection included a review of
activities authorized for your Callaway Nuclear Power Station. At the
conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members
,
of your staff identified in the enclosed report.

The enclosed copy of our inspection report identifies areas examined during

the inspection. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective
examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with
personnel, and observations of activities in progress.

No violations of NRC requireraents were identified during the course of this
inspection.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of
this letter and the enclosed inspection report will be placed-in the NRC

Public Document Room.
