IMPOSITION OF CIVIL PENALTY - $450,000 By EN'88-66 dated August 12, 1988 the Comission was notified of the-intent of OE to issue a Notice of Violation and Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalty in the amount of-$450,000 to Alabama Power Company. This action was based on-violations of the environmental qualification requirements of 10 CFR 50.49 and h
was taken under the " Modified Enforcement Policy Relating to 10 CFR 50.49."-
The licensee responded to the Notice in a letter dated November 14, 1988. After careful consideration of the licensee's response, the staff has concluded that' the violations did occur as set forth in the Notice of Violation and Proposed.
