This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. Wesley L. Holley, and other

members of an NRC team during the period November 29 through December 3, 1993.

The inspection included a review of activities authorized for your Wolf Creek

discussed with you and those members of your staff identified in the enclosed

report.

Areas examined included the implementation of your emergency plan and

procedures during your annual emergency exercise. Within these areas, the

inspection consisted of selective examination of procedures and representative -

records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspectors. The

inspection findings are documented in the enclosed inspection report.

requested to provide this office with a description of your corrective

measures and your schedule for completing these actions within 30 days after

receipt of this letter.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of -

this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
