Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Organizational Changes On September 18,1992, Georgia Power Company (GPC) submitted proposed amendments to Facility Operating License Nos. NPF-68 and NPF-81 which would authorize Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. (SNC) to become the licensed operator and have exclusive responsibility and control over the physical construction, operation, and maintenance of Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, Units I and 2.
The September 18,1992, application sets forth the SNC directors and omcers as of that time. Four separate letters, dated October 23,1992, March 5,1993, May 21,1993, and l
June 14,1993, have been submitted reflecting organizational or personnel changes which have occurred since the September 18,1992, submittal relative to these positions. The purpose of this letter is to inform the NRC of further personnel changes.
On December 10,1993, the Georgia Power Company (GPC) Board of Directors elected Mr. II. A. (Allen) Franklin President and Chief Executive Omcer of GPC, efTective January 1,1994. Mr. Franklin previously served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Omcer of SNC, and as President and Chief Executive Omcer of Southern Company Senices. As GPC's President and ChiefExecutive Omccr, Mr. Franklin succeeds Mr. A. W. (Bill) Dahlberg, III who will become President of the Southern Company, cfrective January 1,1994. The Southern Company's subsidiaries include Georgia Power Company, Alabama Power Company, Gulf Power Company, Mississippi Power Company, Savannah Electric and Power Company, Southern Company Senices, and Southern Nuclear Operating Company.

the additional position of Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, succeeding Mr.
Franklin. In addition to assuming these responsibilities, Mr. IIairston continues to serve as President of SNC and as Executive Vice President of GPC. Mr. Paul DeNicola, previously a Southern Company officer, was elected President and Chief Executive Officer of Southern Company Senices, effective January 1,1994. In this position Mr. DeNicola will also serve on the SNC Board of Directors.
Finally, Mr. J. F. Young was elected Assistant Secretary and Assistant Treasurer of SNC on February 22,1993, by the SNC Board of Directors. Mr. Young succeeds Mr. F. D Kuester who was named to a position within Southern Company Services as described in our letter of October 23,1992.
These changes do not impact the significant hazards consideration evaluation or the conclusions made in the September 18,1992, Application to Amend Facility Operating License Nos. NPF-68 and NPF-81.
