The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed Envirocare lle.(2) byproduct material disposal facility at Clive, Utah, was published by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in late August and noticed by the Environmental Protection Agency on September 13, 1993.
The proposed licensing of this facility by NRC is on schedule.
I would like to compliment the review team that you assigned to coordinate and compile the EIS, especially Greg Zimmerman, the Project Manager. NRC found this group technically competent, responsive to NRC comments and suggestions, l
and thorough in providing their thoughts and analyses of the various areas being considered. Without exception, work products were completed on time or ahead of schedule and under budget.
You can be assured that this ORNL team provided one more " satisfied customer".
