OCTOBER 12, 1993 PUBLIC MEETING DOCUMENTATION This refers to the public meeting conducted on October 12, 1993, at NRC's request, at the Training Center Auditorium located at your River Bend Station facility. The meeting was attended by those listed in Enclosure 1.
The subjects discussed at this meeting included recent organization changes and the near-term Performance Improvement Plan for River Bend Station. We found this meeting useful in understanding the current status of your near-term improvement efforts. At the conclusion of the meeting, NRC agreed with your proposal to hold a meeting later this year where the results of your near-term improvement initiatives and your longer range improvement plans will be discussed. The NRC staff will monitor the results of your implementation of this plan during future inspections.
