Letter, JB Edgar to RC Pierson, dated July 23,1993 in reference 1 Siemens Power Corporation (SPC) requested a license amendment addressing modifications to our gadolinia scrap recovery process. References 2 and 3, respectively, are a request for additional information from the NRC and submittal of that information by SPC.
Per recent conversations between Mary Adams of your staff and myself the modification program described in the references has been postponed for at least six months. SPC will notify you within six months of the schedule for resumption of work on those modifications so that the NRC can resume its review.
