Due to the permanent shutdown of the Trojan Nuclear Plant, Portland General Electric Company (PGE) is canceling a commitment that was made based on the assumption of continued operation.
This commitment is described on the attachment.
PGE is continuing to review commitments made to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC).
Additional commitments identified I

Information Notices and Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Significant Operating Experience Reports, i
and to confirm corrective action closure for responses to i
Notices of Violation and Licensee Event Reports.
This program was also described in a letter dated March 16, 1992.
The period to be covered by this review was January 1, 1984 through December 31, 1991.
Current Action i
This commitment was made based in support of continued operation and was in progress when the Trojan Nuclear Plant was closed in January, 1993.
Due to the permanent shutdown l
of the Trojan Nuclear Plant, this commitment verification
