I am responding to your letter of June 15, 1990, in which you expressed i

opposition to tht; proposed closure of the Nuclear Regulatory Cor.nission's i

Uraniumi Rtcovery Field Office (URFO) in Denver.

The Ccamission considered such a proposal in late June 1990, but decided not to initiate such action at this tine. Although our Denver office will remain open, we may need to recorisider this decision at some future tfine as budget and workload consider-ations warrant.
