Enclosed for your information are the following documentis related to the proposed revision of the Interim Topical Guidelines-for the Licensing Support System-as submitted.to the LSSARP by Mr. Robert Bernero's memorandum dated July 11, 1990: is a copy of the " Draft Regulatory-Guide Topical I ' Guidelines for the Licensing Support System."

is a copy of the interim topical guidelines as published in the Federal Reaister on April 14, 1989 (54 FR 14940).

' is a document which describes the disposition of the three lists which comprised the interim topical i guidelines. ~ Please review this Draft Regulatory Guide and be prepared to discuss it at the October meeting-of the LSSARP. (I am sending a ( separate letter on logistics and scheduleLfor that meeting.') - ^At s that time we should develop LSSARP recommendations lon the topical guidelines or advise the NRC that we have no objection to the regulatory guide's being published as it is now written. The. Supplementary Information to the LSS rule states that "the LSS ~ Advisory Review Panel may develop recommendations to the Commis-sion on whether particular categories of documentary material (e'.g., those limited by date or subject) should still be included within the topicel guidelines."
