Dear Hazel:
Each year the Nuclear Regulatory Commission celebrates Black History Month with an agency-wide program which includes a guest speaker.
The Commission would be honored if you would accept our invitation to be the guest speaker for this coming-year's program.
We have tentatively scheduled the program for February 2, 1994, from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the NRC Headquarter's Building in Rockville,-Maryland._ An alternate date of February 9, 1994, is also available if February 2 presents a conflict.
Of course, I will be there to introduce you.
The program consists of an award presentation for EEO accomplishments, music by the NRC Blacks in Government Choir and the guest speaker presentation.
The event is popular and receives substantial employee participation.
Light refresh-ments will be served at the conclusion of the formal program.
I sincerely hope that you will be able to participate in this year's annual celebration.
