10CFR50.33(K), ITEM 2 In response to 10CFR50.33(K), item-2: request-for verification of financial responsibility for the % commissioning of the University of New Mexico AGN-201M, #112, docket no. 50-252, license:no. R102, we provide the following information.

6 As detailed in our license renewal application,-of

1986, specifically a letter dated July 14,-1986 from the' President of the University to the NRC, decommissioning costs for our facility are approximately $145,000.

The' source of the funds is an Unrestricted Operating Fur.d Account for the College of Engineering. The availability and status of these monies remain L

unchanged from our 1986 license renewal application.
