Atomics International Thank you for your letter dated July 17, 1990, in response to our Notice of Violation and Inspection Report No. 70-25/90-01, dated June 22, 1990, i; informing us of the. steps you have taken to correct the items which we brought ~ ' to your attention. ,=We are encouraged by the actions you have taken to correct the; violation 4 m -and ensure timely reviews of your radiation safety program in the future. t However, caution should be taken to ensure that you are complying with the t requirements contained in the license conditions (including the application), 'as well as,the regulations. Also, you are correct that there'are no. requirements for the eports to be completed within a specific period,,. but the reviews for a specific quarter must be completed by the end of the . next quarter. However, it is only reasonable that prompt reports' are . useful to record the completion of the reviews. and provide for effective management oversight.
