MONTICELLO NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT E-5979 Postulated Pipe Failures Outside Containment The following information is in confirmation of telephone conversations with your Mr J J Shea on July 13 and July 24.
It is necessary that we reschedule the submission date for our detailed analysis report of the consequences of postulated pipe failures outside of the containment structure.
We are now reviewing the first draft of this analysis study prepared by our Architect-Engineer and following this co=plete review, about two weeks vill be required for redrafting the report.
The redrafted report vill then be given a final review and prepared for submission in accor-dance with your copy requirements.
Accordingly we plan to submit our response during the week of September 3, 1973 Until the final report is submitted we refer you to the preliminary re-porting contained in our letter of January 5,1973 and the information conveyed in our neeting with your staff on February 5, 1973 Yours very t
