FOtifIfTTJA 10 CLEAR GENERATING FIRTI E-5979 Docket No. 50-263 As discussed in our recent telephone conversation, every effort will be made to occplete the necessary actions so that our }tnticello Plant Operating License Application can be considered by ICRS at its Decmber meeting. Con-structicn of the plant is progres, sing well and we are scheduling fuel loading for March 1,1970, and in fact there is scme possibility that we can better this fuel load date. We are schMuling substantial overtune to naintain this construction schedule consistent with a December ACRS neetiIg.
i M2mbers of pur staff visited the site on Septarber 17 and were here in our offices for a meeting the following day. The inspection trip and the meeting provided effective carnunications on several matters that must be clarified in order to ccrplete our tbnticello application. To expedite the completion of our application, we are planning to meet with nubers of your staff on October 2 and 3.
We would like to hold additional meetings during subsequent weeks with the objective of supplying all of the required application information prior to IbveTber 1.
'Ihis arrangement, we understand, will complete the record with the required lead tine prior to the ICRS neeting.
I appreciate your continued cooperation in helping us to obtain the }bnticello operating license for a March 1, 1970 fuel loading.
