ALTERNATECONCENTRATIONLIMIT(ACL) WORKSHOP As stated in our earlier notification, the Division of Low. Level Waste Management and Decommissioning of the Office of Huclear Material Safety and Safeguards, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission is sponsoring a workshop)to discuss approaches-for establishing alternate concentration limits ACLs at inactive uranium mill tailings sites regulated under Title I of the Uranium Mill Tailings Radiation Control Act of 1978. This workshop is designed to provide information and solicit input on the methodology to be used to review ACL applications at Title I sites.

Given the interest in ACL applications, Title 11 licensees and Agreement States having uranium recovery regulatory responsibility have also been invited to attend and participate in the workshop. The purpose of this notification is to provide additional information on the location of the workshop and a final agenda.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 1990, from 9:00 a.m. to F 00 p.m. at the Bethesda Holiday Inn, 8120 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda, haryland (301) 652 2000).

Participants interested in overnight accomodations should contact the hotel directly for reservations.
