SUBJECT:
CONFIRMATION OF MEETING ARRANGEMENTS - NORTH ANNA UNIT 2 This confirms the arrangements made between Mr. M. Bowling of Virginia Electric and Power Company and Mr. M. Branch of my staff on October 26, 1993, concerning an Enforcement Conference to be conducted at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission's Renion 11 office in Atlanta on November 10, 1993, at 10:00 a.m.
The purpose of the conference is to discuss the circumstances associated with the High Head Safety Injection subsystem flow rate being less than the Technical Specification required flow rate when measured on October 14, 1993. Since this occurrence is similar to two previous ones, you should be prepared to discuss effectiveness of your corrective actions. A proposed agenda is included as an enclosure.
Should you have any questions regarding these arrangements, we will be pleased to discuss them.
Sincerely,
/s Ellis W. Merschoff, Director Division of Reactor Projects
