SUBJECT: NRC EXAMINATION REPORT NO. 50-348/93-301 1

This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) administered

examinations led by Ronald F. Aiello, during the period October 19-21. 1993.

The examinations were administered to employees of your company who had

applied for licenses to operate the Farley Nuclear Plant. At the conclusion .

of the examination, the examinations and preliminary findings were discussed '

with those members of your staff identified in the NRC Examination Report,

Enclosure 1.

A Simulator Facility Report is included in this report as Enclosure 2.

Facility comments regarding the written examination are included in this

report as Enclosure 3. Enclosure 4 provides the NRC response and resolution

to the facility comments. A copy of the written examination questions and ,

answer key, as noted in Enclosure 3, was provided to members.of your training *

staff at the conclusion of~the examination.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of

this letter and its enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
