Dear Mr. Denton:
The referenced letter transmitted the draf t Callaway plant Technical Specifications. Due to the standardization of design between the callaway and Wolf Creek Units, the two operating utilities jointly participated in the preparation of the draf t Technical Specifications.
In the interest of standardization and the review efficiency it affords, your staff in discussions with applicants agreed to perform a single review of all sections of the draf t Technical Specifications common to both units.
Transmitted herewith are five copies of the Wolf Creek Generating Station, Unit No. 1, draft Technical Specifications material which is not common. These pages replace the identically numbered pages in the Callaway submittal. The unchanged pages from the Callaway submittal and the changed pages provided herewith thus make up the proposed Technical Specifications package applicable to Wolf Creek.
