The Regents of the University of California (UCLA Research Reactor)

(Proposed Renewal of Facility License)

Dear Administrative Judges:

"This is to advise the Board that on July 29, 1982 the University submitted its revised " Emergency Response Plan" to the Commission.. The revised plan, which amends Appendix IV of the License Renewal Application, is nearly identical to the version submitted to the Commission in March 1982. A copy of the revised plan and the transmittal letter have been enclosed together with the University's "4-30-82" amendments, which were not previously forwarded to the Board.

The Board may wish to consider the need to schedule additional discovery and motions for summary disposition related to the emergency plan contention (Contention XXI) .
