Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Completion of Requested Actions from NRC Bulletin 90-01, Supplement 1: Loss of Fill-Oil in Transmitters Manufactured by Rosemount This letter confirms that GPUN has completed Items 1 and 2 of the requested actions for Operating Reactors specified by NRC Bulletin 90-01, Supplement 1.
As of October 28, 1993 two Rosemount Model 1153 Series B transmitters, MU24A-l FT and MU24B-FT were replaced. The units were classified as: manufactured prior to July ll,1989, in service in high pressure safety related applications but not installed in reactor protection trip systems, ESF actuation systems or ATWS applications. Although, data evaluation provided confirmation that the transmitters continued to perform their intended safety functions, the option to replace these transmitters was chosen over that of continuing to perform enhanced surveillance at a quarterly frequency.
