Enclosed is the Dresden Nudear Power Station Monthly Operatine Summary Report for October 1993. This report l
summarizes 10 CFR 50.59 evaluations performed during the months of January 1993 through June 1993 which were not induded in earlier reports. As stated in last month's repod, cienges implemented in July 1993 and thereafter are expected to be reported along with the FSAR updates. This change in reporting frequency remains within the guidance provided in 10 CFR 50.59(b)(2), which states that the report on changes, tests and experiments, with the accompanying l
safety evaluation summaries, may be submitted annually or along with the ISAR updates as required by 50.71(e), or at shorter intervals as may be specified by the licensee.
Last month's reported year-to-date forced outage factor of 20.7% for Unit 3 was incorrect; the year to-date outage factor for Unit 3 as of September was 26.1%.
This information is supplied to your ofilce in accordance with the instructions set forth in Regulatory Guide 1.16.
