Subject:

[External_Sender] Docket ID NRC-2020-0021 - Reject Holtec"s PSDAR Date: Friday, February 14, 2020 4:05:54 PM Feb 14, 2020 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Rulemakings and Adjudications Staff

Dear:

Rulemakings and Adjudications Staff, After reading about problems with Holtec's PSDAR for Indian Point, I hope the NRC reject it. I live on the Hudson River and am glad that Indian Point will finally be shut down. Now it sounds like it won't be done safely. What about the risks of the Algonquin Pipeline being so close to the plant? Also of huge concern: moving radioactive waste by barge and rail. We've been through this with fracking oil being transported by barge and rail. If we had a tar sands spill in the river, forget drinking water for all the towns on the Hudson River. I won't repeat the other potential dangers and costs that have been mentioned by experts. Why is a company with a record of fraud being considered for such a dangerous project?

Don't let this plan become reality. I urge you to reject this unacceptable PSDAR.

Sincerely, Robin Knauth Sincerely, Robin Knauth PO Box 43 Rhinecliff, NY 12574-0043 rak54@hvc.rr.com
