Mr. Harold Denton, The Humboldt Bay Nuclear Power Plant that is operated by P.G&E, is so outdated that it does not make sense to upgrade it.
It in ironic and peculiar that a plant which has not been active for a number of years and a plant which manifests a history of technical problems can still be considered as a possible active reactor in the future.
The longer that we wait beS6re de-comissioning the plant, the more the taxpayers of the State of California will have to pay.
It is such stupidity in relation to the perpetual dogma fcom PG&E that forces me to write to you and C00 to voice my opinions and concerns.
It does not matter whether or not one is for or against nuclear power as exemplified by my father-in-law who is for nuclear power here in Humboldt County but is against the local power plant.
I am personally against all commercial nuclear power and even more so agaisnt a plant which has histordcally had many many problems.
I urge you to do what you can to see that this
, plant is decommissioned as soon as possible.
The sooner, the better.
PG&E is ripping the taxpayer off by keeping the plant open and they realize that.
They also have a burden because of the Diablo Nuclear P0wer Plant which I urge you to do n
everything you can to see that this plant does not go on line ever.
