REVIEW OF REVISION 9 TO THE EMERGENCY PLAN By [[letter::NRC-93-0112, Responds to NRC Re Insp follow-up Item Noted in Insp Rept 50-341/92-08.Vendor Conducting Analysis of Sr-90, Contacted DOE Re Purity of Stable Strontium Carrier & DOE Stated Sr-90 Pure.Third Analysis of Sample Satisfactory|letter dated October 27, 1993]], NRC Region III received Revision 9 to certain pages of the emergency plan. We have reviewed this minor revision and have determined that it is acceptable and that it does not decrease the plan's effectiveness.
Revision 9 contained an acceptable revision to one emergency action level regarding the detection of abnormal inplant radiation levels. The plan revision also contained a number of updated references to revised radiation protection procedures.
