M85665) l teendment 18, dated October 24, 1993, to your Post Defueling Monitored Storage (PDMS) Safety Analysis Report (SAR) requested changes to your list of PDMS requirements and commitments dated January 15, 1993, as revised by NRC letter i

dated August 5, 1993.

The staff has completed its review of your proposed changes to the list. A copy of our evaluation is enclosed. We have concluded that the proposed changes do not constitute an unreviewed safety question and that the changes described fall within the bounds of Final Supplement 4 to the Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement issued by the staff in August 1989. A cory of the revised list of PDMS requirements and commitments is enclosed. The revised list is designated Revision 2.

These changes are effective as of +he i
