i The Franklin County Commission would.like to express its concern over the recent shipment of components from the Yankee Nuclear Power Station in Rowe, Massachusetts, related to the decommissioning of the plant. The Yankee Atomic Electric Company has not yet j
submitted a DRAFT Decommissioning Plan for public review and comment which addresses i
public health and safety, and protection of the environment during decommissioning of the j
Yankee Nuclear Power Station. The Franklin County Commissioners hereby request that a DRAFT Decommissioning Plan be immediately submitted by Yankee Atomic Electric Company
.l for public review and comment and that an information meeting be held in Franklin County to explain the plan to residents. We thank you in advance for your cooperation and assistance in this matter.
