i MEMORANDUM AND ORDER July 27, 1982 On July 20, 1982, the Licensing.toard rendered a partial initial decision in this operating license proceeding.

LBP-82-55.

That decision was confined to seismic issues.

The Board stated (slip opinion, p.

3) that a " supplemental partial initial deci-sion will be issued shortly covering the remaining issues".

The applicants now move for an extension of the time within which to file exceptions to the partial initial decision "to the later of the following:

August 20, 1982 or the time when excep-tions to the balance of the initial decision herein are due".

The bases of the motion are (1) the current unavailability of appli-cants' advisor on a possible subject of exceptions; and (2) the desirability of having the exceptions to the July 20 partial 9 0 7 8207280242 820727 PDR ADOCK 05000395 6

.. _. initial decision filed contemporaneously with a' y exceptions to n

the forthcoming supplemental decision.

Counsel represents that the other parties to the proceeding have no objection to the sought relief p;vviding that their time for filing exceptions is similarly extended.

For good cause E,hown, the motion is granted and the time for the filing of the exceptions of all parties is extended as requested by applicants.

This will enable each party to file a single set of exceptions, addressed to both decisions below.

It is so ORDERED.
