IP letter 5/24/82, U-0488, G. E. Wuller to J. R. Miller, NRC Clinton Power Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-461 This is in response to the reference (1) letter and to confirm agreements made between H. B. Perkins, IP and Mr. Leon Reiter, NRC, Geosciences Branch, during a telephone conversation today.
Illinois Power Company will submit by August 30 a verifi-cation of Figures 33, 34 and 35 (Soil Amplification using
" Upper", " Middle" and " Lower" Bound Soil Properties) of the Weston Geophysical report on Site Specific Response Spectra for the CPS Unit I which was submitted by the reference (2) letter.
The verification of these figures will be accomplished by the use of a " SHAKE" program approach.
