Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 3 Certification of Plant-Referenced Sinulator Enclosed is the Northeast Nuclear Energy Company submittal for-certifying the Millstone Unit No. 3 simulator as a plant-referenced simulator per 10CFR55.45(b).
Enclosed is a completed, signed NRC form 474 and-four volumes to support this submittal.

The first volume contains general information on the Millstone Unit No. 3 simulator.
The second volume contains the, generic procedure. governing certification of the Millstone Unit No. 3 simulator. -The third volume contains performance test results for the Millstone Unit No. 3 simulator.
The fourth volume contains summaries of all certified malfunctions available on the Millstone Unit No. 3 simulator.
10CFR55.45(b)(b)(ii) requires that licensees "s'tmit, every four years on the anniversary of the certification, a report ' to the Commission which identifies any uncorrected performance test failures."
- Also, Section (b)(5)(vi) requires "a schedule for the conduct of approximately 25 percent of the performance tests per year for the subsequent four years."
NNECO intends to comply with these requirements.
See Volume 3, Performance Test Report, for a description of the approximately 25 percent of performance testing to be completed each year.
