Amendment Request to XR069
Dear Ms. Wright:
My letter of November 9,1993 requested that the NRC nmend XR069 and add a " reactor vessel head" as an item authorized for export. We were advised on Friday, November 12, 1993 that thc customer, Vattenfall All Ringhals, had opted to repair the existing reactor vessel head at Ringhals 2 rather than purchase one from Westinghouse.
Vattenf all rnay, however, chose to order a replacement reactor vessel head in the future. Accordingly, we are requesting the NRC to maintain our amendment request as an open item for the time being.
Enclosed is a check for 55,300.00 covering U. S. Government activities which have taken place to date.
Our thanks to the U. S. Government for its help in expediting our request.
