Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

This is in response to your letter to H. G. Parris dated November 13, 1981, Report Nos. 50-259/81-c4, -260/81-24, -296/81-24 radiological emergency inspection report for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant. Identified in that inspection report were four items for improvement in TVA's emergency response capability to be performed by May 1, 1982. As discussed between George Jenkins of your.;taff and Mike Hellums of my staff on April 30, 1982 items 1 through 3 were completed May 1, 1982. It was also discussed that item 4 would be completed the week of May 3,1982. Item 4 was completed as scheduled.

If you have any questions, please call Jim Domer at FTS 858-2725.

To the best of my knowledge, I declare the statements contained herein are complete and true.

Very truly yours, TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY DM M D. Stuart Kammer Nuclear Engineer 1
