REVISION 02 TO THE YANKEE NUCLEAR POWER STATION DEFUELED SECURITY PLAN
Dear Sir / Madam:
Enclosed is Revision 02 to the Yankee Nuclear Power Station Defueled Security Plan.
The changes incorporated in Revision 02 do not decrease the Safeguards effectiveness of the plan. Therefore, pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p), Yankee Atomic Electric Company is notifying the Nuclear Regulatory Commission of the changes that will be implemented temporarily.
The following changes are incorporated in Revision 02:
e Additional Security controls for the area known as the Clapper Valve within the Shield Tank Cavity Revised the " List of Effective Pages" e
Attachment A explains the changes; Attachment B contains Revision 02 to the Defueled Security Plan. All text changes have been highlighted by sidebars in the margin.
This cover letter when separated from the enclosure is not Safeguards Information.
