REVIEW 0F REVISION 16 TO THE CORPORATE EMERGENCY PLAN FOR THE MONTICELLO AND PRAIRIE ISLAND NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANTS l
On October 18, 1993, NRC Region III received Revision 16 to portions of the corporate emergency plan. We have reviewed this revision and determined that l
it is acceptable and that it does not degrade the effectiveness of your emergency planning.
Summary descriptions of the public alert and notification system and the radiological environmental monitoring program for each plant's 10 mile emergency planning zone (EPZ) were deleted from Revision 16. The revision indicated that details on these items were in site-specific procedures.
Revision 16 indicated that the EPZs' evacuation time estimate studies and some letters of agreement with offsite support organizations were updated during 1992 and 1993, respectively. These documents were not reviewed, since they were listed but not incorporated in this plan revision.
Revision 16 also included several clarifications, information updates and editorial changes.
