s This letter is to confirm our plans to :nectivith you and your colleagues on Never.ber 16, 1978, to discuss the NRC's regulatory program for protection of the public health and safety, specifically as it relates to the Northern States Power Company Prairie Island plant. As you know, the meeting is being held for officials of the City of Red Wing, the Welch Township, and the Goodhue County Board of Commissioners.
The meeting vill be at 2:00 p.m. (nominally one hour) in the Council 1
Chambers, Red Wing City Hall. While the meeting is intended to be informal, we have prepared a tentative agenda which is enclosed.
We hope this meeting will be informative for you; please note that we have allotted a portion of the time for questions and answers.
