colleagues on November 16, 1978, to discuss the NRC's regulatory progran for protection of the public health and safety, specifically as it relates to the Northern States Power Company Prairie Island plant. As you know, the meeting is being held for officials af the City of Red Ving, the g,g Township, and the Coodhue County Board of Cornissioners.

The meeting vill be at 2:00 pm.m (nominally one hobr) in the Council Chambers, Red Wing City Hall. While the meeting is intended to be informal, we have prepared a tentative agenda which is enclosed.
