Dear Mr. Meyer,
This letter is to confim our plans to meet with you and your colleagues on Novecher 16, 1978, to discuss the NRC's regulatory prograr. for protection of the public health and safety, specifically as it relates to the Northern States Power Coupany Prairie Island plant. As you know, the meeting is being held for officials of the City of Red Wing, the Welch Township, and the Goodhue County Board of Connissioners.
The meeting will be at 2:00 p.m. (nominally one hour) in the Council Chambers. Red Wing City Hall. While the meeting is intended to bc informal, we have prepared a tenaative agenda which is enclosed.
We nope this meeting vill be informative for you; please note that we have allotted a portion of the time for questions and ansvers.
