Dear Mr. Lamberski:

I wrote you a letter on October 7, 1993, requesting that you make arrangements to interview NRC personnel through me.

I had been informed that such was not the case in all situations.

You telephoned today to inform me that I was in error.

Thereupon I went directly to those that I had been informed had been contacted by you and found that this was not the situation.

I apologize for my incorrect letter of October 7, 1993, and for any possible adverse reflection upon your professional conduct.

In our several years of association, in the present administrative proceeding, you have acted with absolute propriety and I personally regret having made any other inference.
