South Texas Project facility on October 29, 1993, at 9 a.m., and to provide you the preliminary schedule for our planned restart issue inspections. provides the proposed agenda for this meeting.

In our letter of October 12, 1993, we informed you that we would be unable to schedule all inspections that need to be accomplished to evaluate your readiness to restart Unit I until we receive additional information pertaining to the completion of independent and line management self-assessments, and your notification that the various restart issues are resolved, and selected restart issue closeout packages are ready for NRC inspection.

i provides a list of currently planned restart issue inspections.

In most instances, tentative inspection start dates have been identified on the basis of your current Unit I restart schedule and the availability of NRC inspection resources. Generally, we do not plan to conduct restart issue inspections until you have informed us that you are ready to support the inspections. is a list of questions that the NRC will require a resoonse to in order to firmly establish the schedule for these inspections. We request that you respond in writing to the questions in Enclosure 3 by October 26, 1993.
