WATERFORD-3 EMERGENCY PLANNING ANNUAL EXERCISE l
This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated August 30, 1993,-
l transmitting the scenario for your upcoming annual exercise. We have reviewed l
l the scenario using Inspection Procedure 82302.
On September 15, 1993, Dr. D. Blair Spitzberg of-our staff met with Messrs. F. Englbracht.and 1
J. Lewis of your organization to discuss our specific comments and questions regarding the scenario.
During a telephone discussion between the same r
parties held on October 5,1993, your staff. indicted that several changes had i
been made to the scenario to address our comments.
l Based on our review, we have determined that the scenario should support a i
reasonable demonstration of your emergency response capabilities. On the week i
of the exercise please be prepared to discuss the revised scenario with our inspection team.
