Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 OTSG Tubes' Post Inservice Inspection Report for Refueling Interval 10R This letter fulfills the requirement of THI-1 Technical Specification section 4.19.5.a, to report to the NRC, within 15 days of the completion of inservice inspection of the steam generator tubes, the number of tubes repaired or removed from service in each steam generator.
During the 10R refueling interval, evaluation of eddy current inspection results determined the need to repair one tube and remove one defective tube from service by plugging. Specifically, one tube was repaired by sleeving in steam generator "A" and one tube was plugged in steam generator "B."
The plugging was completed on October 2, 1993.
Since their fabrication, a total of 1268 tubes have been removed from service in steam generator "A" and 373 in steam generator "B".
