NOVEMBER 9, 1993, PUBLIC MEETING ON PROPOSED SEISMIC CHANGES TO UTILITY REQUIREMENTS DOCUMENT (URD)
You have requested that the Nuclear Regulatory Comission (NRC) staff schedule a public meeting with the Electric Power Research Institute and the advanced light-water reactor vendors on November 9, 1993, to discuss proposed changes to your URD in the area of seismic design.
In order to allow the staff to prepare and to make this a useful meeting, we request that you place your positions, including proposed URD changes, on the Project No. 669 docket, two weeks prior to the meeting date.
We will be issuing a notice of public meeting with proposed agenda, list of attendees, and meeting location in the next week or so.
