Dear Mr. DeLaBarre:

Attached for your information is a report which lists all export actions completed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission during the month of September, all new export applications received in September and all cases pending as of September 30.

In summary, nine export cases were completed; five new export license applications and amendment requests were received; and, 71 cases were pending as of September 30.

We understand that most of the pending cases are awaiting receipt by the Executive Branch of foreign government assurances as required by the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Act of 1978.
