Hope Creek Generating Station (HCGS)
Docket No.50-354 License Change Request LCR 93-15 Environmental' Protection Plan -- Revisions Aquatic Monitoring By letter dated July 7, 1993, Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) the subject license change request (LCR) for an amendment to Appendix B (Environmental Protection Plan) of Facility Operating License NPF-57.
The request is for the removal of Pages 4-la and 4-lb of Section 4.2.1,
" Aquatic Monitoring",
from Appendix B.
This amendment will relieve HCNGS from monitoring requirements intended for the preservation of endangered aquatic species, as mandated by the federal Endangered Species Act of 1973.

Energy's (NJ DEP&E)
Bureau of Nuclear Engineering (BNE) staff reviewed the above amendment, in accordance with-the1 requirements of 10 CFR 50.91(b), and has no comments.
In addition, the_ staff.of NJ DEP&E's Division of Fish, Game and Wildlife reviewed the request and concurs with these changes so long as annual lethal and non-lethal impingements do not: exceed - the levels permitted by the National Marine Fisheries Service.
