Comment: The term " construction" is no longer in the Glossary of the GNS/GNB QA Plan but the term is still in Section 5.1.1 of the plan.
Also, it would be nice if the Glossary in the plan were in alphabetical order.
Response: Section 5.1;l will be revised to delete the words "to be used in construction" so that the sentence reads "This section describes the manner in which instructions, procedures, and drawings are prepared, reviewed, and I
accepted or approved by GNS/GNB and external bodies."
The glossary will be put in alphabetical order.
31.
Comment: The matrix of procedures versus requirements in the GNS QA Handbook is not in the GNS/GNB QA Plan.
Shouldn't the GNS/GNB QA Plan (and the CNSI QA Program) include a matrix of procedures versus requirements?
Fesponse: Both CNSI and GNS/GNB use procedures, instructions, drawings, and other controlled documents to control work activities.
Due to the volume of such documents, and the fact that these types of documents are frequently added or deleted, listing them in a QA Plan or Program would be inappropriate and would subject the Plan or Program to unnecessary and frequent revisions.
32.
Comment: The date of NQA-1 committed to in the Introduction of the GNS/GNB QA Plan does not agree with the date of NQA-1 committed to in Section 3.2.1 of the GNSI QA Plan.
Shouldn't the commitments be to the same edition of the standard?
Response: The date for the edition of NQA-1 included in the GNS/GNB QA Plan introduction will be revised to reflect the 1989 edition, as stated in the GNSI QA Plan.
