Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (TMI-1)
Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Technical Specification Change Request No. 235 In accordance with 10 CFR 50.4(b)(1), enclosed is Technical Specification Change Request (TSCR) No. 235.
Also enclosed is a Certificate of Service for this request certifying service to the chief executives of the township and county in which the facility is located, as well as the designated official of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Bureau of Radiation Protection.
The purpose of this TSCR is to request that the THI-1 Technical Specifications be revised to reflect a partial GPU Nuclear reorganization to become effective when TMI-2 enters the Post-Defueling Monitored Storage (PDMS) mode. This reorganization includes deleting TMI-2 as a division and incorporating those functions and responsibilities required to maintain the PDMS condition and requirements into the current THI-l Division. The THI-I Division will be renamed the TMI Division.
In addition to the change associated with the PDMS-related reorganization, some obsolete organizational titles are updated.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.91(a), enclosed is an analysis applying the standards in 10 CFR 50.92 to make a determination of no significant hazards considerations.
