MEMORANDUM AND ORDER (Termination of Proceeding)
In connection with the Boston Edison Company (Licensee) application for an expansion of a spent fuel pool at its Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, the Board has pendino a request for hearing and petition to intervene filed by the Massachusetts Attorney General (Petitioner) on May 27, 1993.
Several extensions of time for filing contentions were requested and granted and a subsequent notification from the Petitioner, dated August 25, 1983, informs the Board that matters at issue with the Licensee have been satisfactorily resolved.
The Petitioner therein withdraws its motion to intervene and request for hearing, and the Staff on 9309270333 930916

September 2, 1993, advised the Board that it has no objection to the withdrawal.
Accordingly, no matters in controversy existing between the parties, the Board terminates and dismisses the proceeding herein.
