EIPERIENCE: EG&G Rocky Flats: Golden, Colorado - Department of Energy Weapons Production Plant July 1991 to Present: Bealth Physicist YI/Padiological Engineer. Health Physicist VI/ Radiological Engineer for Environ 2 ental & Waste Section of Radiological Engineering. Responsible for development and implementation of procedures to ensure compliance with applicable DOE Orders and Federal Facility Compliance Agreement regulating the release of waste and property from the Rocky Flats Plant. Developed and revised procedures for the radiological deteralnation of i hazardous /non-hazardous wastes, and the unrestricted release of wastes and properties. Performed radiological determinations of various hasardous/non-hasardous wa.stes and weste streams. Performed numerous Radiological Building Engineer functions, such as; radioactive source inspections, radiation producing device inspections, Radiological Work Permit reviews, Operational Safety Analysis reviews, Safety Concern resolution, and Radiological Deficiency Report resolution. Responsible for implementation of the DOE Radiological Control Manual. Member of the Radiological Assistance Program Teas. Member of the On-site /Off-site Radiological Energency Field Sampling Teas. 1 Wolf Creek Generating Station - 1135 MW FYR (1980-1991) 1988 to July 1991: Health Physics Engineer Radwaste. Administer radioactive waste transportation and burial programs, including budget development and contract negotiation. Track and trend radioactive waste generation data using IBM PC based spreadsheet / database software (Lotus-Symphony).
