i NRC Bulletin 91-01, Supplement 1 (Reference 2), requested a response within 60 days regarding the compatibility or revision of our reporting procedures.

Although the Bulletin.was dated July 4

27, 1993, it was not received by GE until August 16,-1993.

As a result of this late receipt and travel schedule conflicts of key.

personnel involved with our response, GE is requesting an extension until October 22, 1993, for providing our response to the Bulletin.

This request was discussed with Mr. Ed Flack of your office on September 9, 1993.
